In an effort to promote and strengthen the Azaan (the Call to Salah), the Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre embarked on a new initiative aimed at training and empowering Muslims for the position of Muazzin. Through the 'Al Ihsan Muazzin Training Programme', combining theory with practical hands-on training, ten indivduals enrolled into the programme for the two month programme held at Masjid Bilal, Newlands West.
